Home Diamond Carbide Stainless Other Bur Boxes

For efficient debriding the bur you select is of utmost importance.  If you want to be fast, select more aggressive burs.  All burs have the standard 3/32" stem.  They fit standard podiatry drills and can be sterilized.  The finer grits produce more fine dust.  Coarser burs produce more particles that fall to the floor.

Diamond burs: Fine grit or coarse to very coarse grit.  Fine grit is good for smoothing roughened nail.  Coarse grit is fast on nail and callus.   Pointy burs can nucleate corns, hollow out lesions and IPK's and do nail right up to the cuticle.  The cylindrical bur can square a nail.  The larger burs are great for bulk debriding of callus.

Carbide burs: Fine, medium and coarse cuts for very fast debriding of nail.  And a special bur for thick callus.

Gold colored burs look nice but once the titanium layer wears off the edge they are carbide.  And carbide is harder than titanium.  Our burs are carbide to begin with.

Stainless steel burs: Fine to coarse and cross cut aggressive burs of many shapes.  Excellent on wet callus.  Work also on nail.  Single cut burs have vertical cutting edges only.  The cross cut burs also have cutting edges horizontally and are easier to control and more aggressive.
Other burs: Rubber burs and their disposable sanding caps are very fast on callus;

Ceramic burs are good for smoothing nail and some polishing burs.  The styles shown here are favored by our customers.
